On June 18th 2023 we lost a much-loved friend and original member of the team at CitySoundWave who helped laid the foundation to what we are today. Our hearts break and we have all cried many tears. Not only did we lose Phil, but also the Seattle event industry lost a much-loved and admired contributor.
In the event industry, we help create connections and memories.
His legacy and memory will live on with us at CitySoundWave and within many of us who came to know him. If you were fortunate enough to know him, you will cherish the events where you connected and remember him moving forward.
Phil was happy-go-lucky, always had positive vibes, loved networking, and brightened a room. He inspired others, always thought of others and those in need and helped raise awareness, and had a passion for fundraising for those in need. One of his catchphrases was “I’ve got a show to do!’ and he stayed true to that until his last moment. Sadly, his last moments were at an event, suffering from a heart attack that ultimately turned out to be fatal. He loved being a part of CitySoundWave and helping people have the best time at events. A close circle of family and friends was there at the end of this show. However, the show must go on, and I dedicate his memory to our forthcoming events and the company’s growth as we are where we are as a part of his influence on the formation of CitySoundWave. Phil, I will never forget you, always love you, and continue your legacy by putting on a show. I will also continue to cry for some time to come!
A celebration of Phil's life is planned for Monday, September 18th 2023, from 6pm - 8pm at Efestē Winery in SoDo. Please join us and RSVP using the link below so we can get an accurate headcount.
